Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Supply Chain Subcontractor Specialist to join our team to perform subcontract management duties on production as well as development/R amp;D efforts for complex systems, components and parts.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
bull; Negotiate and administer multiple subcontract types, to include but not limited to Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials
bull; Managing complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW-driven requirements and other specific procurements, as required
bull; Preparing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), receiving, analyzing and evaluating proposals
bull; Selecting or recommending subcontractors
bull; Perform cost and price analysis
bull; Negotiating price, delivery and terms and conditions commensurate with program expectations
bull; Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of subcontractors and recommend or implement supplier corrective actions as necessary
bull; Prepare compliant procurement documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations
bull; Perform subcontract close out
bull; Work closely with Program Office, Mission Assurance, and Engineering representatives to define and implement procurement strategies
* This position may support occasional telecommuting at the discretion of management.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal (Level 4) are:
bull;Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field.
bull; Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in supply chain, contracts, or similar field.
bull; Must have a current/active Secret clearance or higher that has been issued or adjudicated within the past five (5) years.
bull; Experience and understanding of US Government Procurement regulations (ie: FAR, DFAR).
bull; Proven experience in negotiating contracts and sub-contracts.
bull; Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders.
bull; Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers or projects (cost targets, schedules and hardware/data deliverables, etc.).
bull; Demonstrated problem solving skills.
bull; Experience with root cause corrective action (RCCA).
bull; Experience with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR).
bull; Advanced proficiency in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project).
bull; Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
bull; Current/active Secret clearance or higher.
bull; Experience generating and negotiating Long Term Agreements, Teaming Agreements and other related agreements.
bull; Proven ability to work multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
bull; Excellent business acumen and demonstrated ability to make business based decisions.
bull; Experience managing supplier relationships and cross- functional teams.
