Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to joinour team as a System Test Analyst amp; Tool Developer based out of SchrieverAir Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.
What Youll get to Do:
* Seeking a motivated data analyst to support the Missile DefenseNational Team (MDNT) in support of developing tools and analysis of missiletracking and models. This individual will be a part of a focused technical teamverifying and validating metrics, statistics and descriptive analysis of testdata from Ballistic Missile Defense Systems in development in support ofnational security.
* The candidate will perform research and analysis to identifymeaningful metrics, patterns and trends from the test datasets, and usestatistical methods to validate or reject hypotheses about the data.
* Assist with the planning, scheduling and development ofverification analysis tools
* Coordinate, develop and maintain analysis and test tracking tools
* Ensure proper backup/archiving of test products and analysisdatasets (DM)
* Develop and maintain analysis tools in accordance withrequirements provided by the test analysts including Excel-based tools (VBA)and ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) tools created in JAVA.
* Candidate is expected to travel as needed (less than 10%) but themajority of work will be conducted at Schriever AFB. Some non-standard workhours are possible intermittently.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* An active Secret clearance is required.
* 2 Years with Bachelor rsquo;s degree in a related field; 0 years rsquo; experience with Master rsquo;s degree.
* Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
* Experience with Object oriented software; either Python, Java or C++/C.
* Experience with the Linux environment. acirc; euro; cent; Experience with using and maintaining relational databases.
* Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Python programming experience.
* Bash or similar scripting experience.
* Strong sense of how data tells a story
* Use of spreadsheets for data analysis and associated tools.
* Experience in manipulation of large data sets.
* Development of software test and analysis tools.
* Development and automation of data management processes and tools.
* It is highly desirable that the candidate have experience with BMDS elements or components, to include operational systems (e.g., Aegis, Patriot, GMD, THAAD, SBX, Aegis) in either a test or operational environment
* Experience in the use of COTS modeling, simulation and analysis tools is also desired.
