This security management position will serve as a BWI Security Manager for Payload and Ground Systems Division of the Space Sector. This position requires expertise in all disciplines of the industrial security field, to include SAP and SCI. It will require interface with all levels of sector, division and government management personnel, and maintain the skill necessary to cultivate relationships for optimal contract security performance. This position will be responsible for providing oversight and direction to several established programs and one major business pursuit that span sites across the US with major sites including Redondo Beach, CA, Denver, CO., Fairfax, VA, and Baltimore, MD.

This position will report directly to the PGS Division Security Manager and is required to be able to collaborate effectively with his/her peers within the other divisions, as well as the sector staff and to act as a mentor for the supported Security managers.

In addition to expertise in all disciplines of the security field, the successful candidate will possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial, and management skills, knowledge, and abilities to ensure maximum effectiveness. Expectation of a confident demeanor and able to make critical security decisions for dynamic business units that support high value contracts. Be able to drive constructive change and consistency within the organization.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum 10 years Industrial Security experience and Bachelor degree, 12 years Industrial Security experience and Associates degree, or 14 years of experience total in lieu of degree.
* 5+ years managerial experience in a mid-size to large size organization.
* Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
* Ability to travel 25% of the time
