Northrop Grumman Space Systems has openings for Senior Principal Program Cost Schedule amp; Control Analysts to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. These positions support critical programs in the Tactical Space Division 39;s Space Security portfolio. These positions will be located in Dulles, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Leading all aspects of financial management on programs, including forecasting, planning, estimate-at-complete (EAC) maintenance, program control/Earned Value Management (EVMS), and ad hoc analyses and reporting.
* Setting up cost control systems, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system (Earned Value Management).
* Performing analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
* Preparing budgets for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
* Leading program Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and perform EAC maintenance and analyses for program and executive leadership.
* Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
* Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
* Producing monthly customer reporting and internal monthly financials.
* Serving as a primary resource for financial reporting, including internal and external reporting of program management reviews (PMRs) and contractual deliverables.

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor 39;s degree from an accredited institution.
* 9+ years of experience working in program finance, financial analysis and/or contracts.
* Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) producing IPMR Formats 1-7.
* A current Interim Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Aerospace/defense industry experience.
* Deltek Cobra experience. (Deltek Microframe Program Manager experience will be considered)
* Costpoint and/or Cognos experience.
* Experienced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance.
* Experience with Internal and/or Joint Surveillance Reviews (ISR/JSR) and resulting Corrective Action Requests and Plans (CARs/CAPs).
