Northrop Grumman is in need of a Illustrator Part time on call. Will be responsible for both the conceptual and technical aspects of hand-drawn and digital illustrations. The candidate will select the techniques best suited to produce desired visual effects in conformance with established quality standards and specified reproduction medium. The candidate will participate as a member of a multimedia design team along with UX designers, instructional designers, web developers and subject matter experts.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Demonstrated proficiency in hand-drawn color and black and white illustration
* High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience
* Demonstrated proficiency in digital illustration
* Multimedia experience with Photoshop and Illustrator

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Art, Design, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of work experience to include any combination of illustration, graphic design, or multimedia design
* A portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design skills in web / mobile / multimedia design
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
