Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Product Planning amp; Scheduler to provide planning support for our Launch Vehicle Division in Chandler, AZ.

The primary responsibilities involve the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin and required location to support production, mission and launch operations phases of a Suborbital Target Program in order to satisfy customer requirements. In this role the logistics management analyst will ensure the execution of standard logistics processes including the efficient flow and timely delivery of hardware and equipment, the coordination of the following: shipping events, government property maintenance, calibration of tooling and equipment, as well as the maintenance of Program logistics records. Ability to travel required.

Responsibilities Include:

* Lead select Targets Programs rsquo; Logistics efforts

* Logistics Task Leader and Coordinator

* Change agent to champion and facilitate Targets Logistics rsquo; process improvements

* Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly objectives are achieved

* Cost Account Management (CAM)

* Main Contributor on the Plan/CONOP for packaging and shipping as part of the program rsquo;s larger CONOP

* Ensures weekly and monthly objectives are achieved and status provided to the program

* Accounts for and maintains accurate records of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)

* Supports Range Interface Working Group as well as Logistics Working Group Meetings

* Provides input for and participates in presenting for milestone events such as Design Reviews, and Readiness Reviews

* Coordinate movement of hardware between NGIS sites, suppliers, and launch sites (e.g. Hawaii, Marshall Islands, Alaska, Scotland, Australia, etc.) including the organization of shippers, physical movement of hardware, and compliance with all paperwork requirements.

* Maintains a close working relationship with NGIS Operations, Government Property, Transportation, Receiving, Planning, Integration and Test, Warehouse and Targets Program Personnel

* Establishes and maintains close working relationship with the Customer Logistics, Property and Transportation Teams

* Primary contributor on proposal preparations and submittals including cost and schedule information related to logistics tasking for new or follow-on work

Qualifications - External

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Education / Experience: lt;/b gt;10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters

* Very Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Very Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels in the organization

* Very strong MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills

* Previous experience leading a multi discipline team

* Previous experience identifying and driving process improvement efforts

* Experience with Logistics Processes involving Government Property preferred

* Must be self-motivated, work well under pressure, and be able to effectively communicate

* Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks to meet schedule

* Current active Department of Defense Secret security clearance

* U.S. Citizenship is required.

* Willingness to obtain required job related certification (forklift, crane, hazardous material handling, BATF ordnance handling, etc)

* Military Logistics experience is a plus
