Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Production Controller / Master Scheduler to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Dayton, OH at our Beavercreek facility. We are an R amp;D amp; Low-Rate Production manufacturing facility that designs and builds radomes, antennas, and composite aerospace structures, both large and small. Our work site is divided into value streams; you will serve as both the master scheduler and production control SME for your particular value stream. Beavercreek is one of a very few facilities that allows exposure to the full life cycle of highly technical, cutting edge products.

The selected candidate will work in a process-centric environment and own the Production Control, Scheduling and Inventory from cradle to grave. Additionally, you will create a culture where teamwork and collaboration drive success.

Responsibilities:

- Serves as Program Master Scheduler and Work Center Scheduler for assigned programs

- Plans, prepares, disseminates, and controls top level program schedules and detailed level dispatch schedules

- Collaborates with production control to identifies backlogs, conflicts and scheduling priorities

- Manages all make part MRP supply and demand, ensures accuracy of information

- Cross functional liaison between Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure production has all required inputs (Documents/Tools/Materials/etc.)

- Coordinates customer and WIP shipments with Logistics

- Supports site capacity and facility planning

Travel is minimal (less than 10%).

This position may be filled at the Principal or Senior Principal Analyst level depending on the qualifications below.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Analyst

* Bachelors degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience, or Masters degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience. Note: an additional 4 years of work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Proficiency with MS Excel and Outlook
* Experience in Master Scheduling
* Experience in Production Control
* Proficiency with ERP/MRP Systems

Senior Principal Analyst

* Bachelors degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience, or Masters degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience. Note: an additional 4 years of work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Proficiency with MS Excel and Outlook
* Experience in Master Scheduling
* Experience in Production Control
* Proficiency with ERP/MRP Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Work experience with scheduling tools and resource loading (i.e. MS Project)
* Shop Floor Control Systems (i.e. Dynafact) experience
* APICS Certification
* Aerospace / Manufacturing experience
* OpenPlan / Deltek Costpoint
