SUMMARY

The Marketing Analyst position actively assists in achieving Heavy Products & Petrochemicals Marketing goals and strategies with a focus on analysis, reporting, presentations and projects. The individual will have the opportunity to interact with both Findlay and field personnel as well as internal customers (Accounting, IT, TT&R, SD&P and Tax). The position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills. The position will include working on numerous projects throughout the year and is an excellent opportunity for self-starters that thrive in dynamic, analytical environments. A strong understating of Excel is required. IT Project Management exposure is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

* Work with IT on organizational projects while helping to advance HP&Ps information management goals
* Assist in preparing various benchmarks and analysis for the entire HP&P Division.
* Calculate and analyze the value of HP&Ps diversified portfolio of commodities and classes of trade
* Recommend improved procedures for handling sales forecasting, sales reporting, analytical data and computer processing requirements.
* Assist management in the ongoing development and analysis of data necessary to measure profitability.
* Assist in making recommendations to management and implementing new or improved marketing programs.
* Represent HP&P Marketing on cross organizational teams.
* Constantly review tasks/processes and recommend process improvements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's Required in Accounting, Finance or Marketing preferred
* Relevant Experience Level: 5+ years preferred
