Job Description
* Create and review requirements or instructions for designing mechanical components throughout all phases of product development ranging from early concept to mass production readiness. This also applies to existing components, to improve company products.
* Develop 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, and specifications as part of the product development process, for prototypes and final products. Responsible for the preparation of products or processes layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
* Research and analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. This includes collaborating with local engineering resources and manufacturing partners to qualify part tooling and define quality requirements.
