Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for consulting and following up with customers with design studio options and upgrade purchase process. Preparing sales addendums and collecting deposits. Follow-up with customers, Construction, Escrow Department and managers regarding selections. Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with and direct customer through design studio options and upgrade purchase process for all selections required to build their home.
2. Ability to increase profits for the division by promoting optimal option choices.
3. Know specifications and stay informed of all product lines and changes.
4. Assist in identifying errors in system.
5. Select inventory selections as needed.
6. Have full and complete knowledge of products and options sold in the Lennar Design Studio, and the ability to explain the benefits and features of such products and options to customers
7. Knowledge of, and familiarity with, general construction standards, stages and cut offs
8. Knowledge of Online design catalog and computer programs related to completion of all orders
9. Knowledge of standard forms and procedures used in the Design Studio
10. Perform a comprehensive review of all options, disclosures, and warranty issues with customers
11. Complete all follow up paperwork and phone calls to customers and vendors
12. Attend designated meetings
13. Familiar with, and ability to read blueprints, and other home diagrams
14. Communicate regularly with Lennar Sales, Construction, and Escrow associates
15. Assist with the preparation and implementation of Designer Book, including photos and materials used for marketing to the customer
16. Walk installations on a regular basis to inspect finishes and installation applications
17. Remain current and up to date on design/color trends and new products
18. Follow up on all Lennar policies and procedures
19. Maintain the Design Studio in a neat, clean, organized and professional manner
20. Diligently pursue option/flooring Sales Agreements to ensure Agreements are signed and deposits are collected prior to the applicable option cut-off date
21. Work to assist with pre-plotting homes thru all selections excluding floor covering, which shall be a customers choice pending a purchase prior to cut off
22. Selection of floor covering in the event a home is unsold at cut off at the direction of Design Studio Manager
23. Job requires working evenings and weekends.
24. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Three (3) - five (5) years sales experience in related field
* High school diploma or GED required
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
* Advanced customer service skills
* Advanced organizational skills
* Strong sense of color and design applications
* Must posses professional attitude to represent company in positive manner
* Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
* Follow directions from a supervisor
* Interact well with co-workers
* Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
* Accept constructive feedback
* Team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, operate a motor vehicle, move and carry product samples and office supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
