About the Role

We are looking for an outstanding business leader to join the JLL Technologies (JLL/T) Core Product, Global Technology Advisory team. The Account Technology Director (ATD) is responsible for forging trusted and productive customer and stakeholder relationships, developing holistic business-technology and data strategies, and being a thought leader in Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Property Technology (PropTech) helping JLLs enterprise clients achieve their business ambitions through technology enablement and digital transformation.

The ATD Role for the JLL Corporate Account aligns to the Corporate Solutions (CS) Global Technology Advisory organization.

This ATD role is responsible for a singular client-account and serves as the technology business partner and delivery excellence link between the client (JLL Corporate RE team) and JLL/T. The ATD is a trusted technology advisor and the primary point of contact, escalation, and facilitation across all JLL/T functions.

The ATD will focus on understating client needs, leading development of innovative technology solutions strategies to address those needs, capturing critical VoC feedback for product enhancement, and generating technology direct sales opportunities.

Above all, the primary measure of success of the ATD is enabling our Chicagoland based client and JLL leadership to achieve their objectives, generating incredible levels of client satisfaction through expert technology advisory.

This role is geography agnostic and virtual/remote by nature, but will be servicing a high profiled, global client based in Chicago.



Role Responsibilities



* Provide education, training and thought leadership on CRE technology to the account team

* Proactively advise and influence technology strategy across the entire sales cycle to ensure technology is consistently presented, differentiated and integrated with sales, delivery, and security teams resulting in an increased customer satisfaction, sales pursuit wins, and customer renewal rates

* Regularly attend and participate in client meetings with CRE and IT Execs and industry events to deepen client relationships as a trusted and valued partner

* Accountable for business-technology development campaigns for aligned account as a CRE Technology expert contributing to overall growth and sales opportunity pipeline

* Assists account teams in understanding where there are opportunities to engage JLL/T sales teams for direct technology sales

* Serve as escalation point for technology support and delivery challenges; works with individual JLL/T teams and to resolve quickly and effectively

* Collect voice of the customer feedback that informs product development and enhancement

* Ability to translate client requests to make impactful recommendations that meet client needs, tell a story that eloquently translates data, simplifies complex information and clearly articulates JLLs value

* Strong networking and influential skills with ability to work across diverse stakeholders to drive common solutions

* Must demonstrate proven ability to effectively manage customer relationships

* Anticipates and understands the emerging needs of clients

* Deep business acumen of the CRE industry; expertise with the world of CRE functions, processes, stakeholders, market, etc.

* Understands the market of CRE Technologies, Prop Tech, IWMS, Smart Buildings, IoT, etc.

* Highly influential client presentation and communication skills with strong executive presence and ability to proactively anticipate client needs

* Is a leader in strategic orientation of technology as a differentiation to the core businesses in Corporate Real Estate

* Proven track-record in managing a high-performing, matrixed teams and large programs

* Results focused leadership style, ensures execution, drives targeted results, focuses on customers and leads courageously



Education Credentials

* This position requires a bachelors degree in addition to a broad range of business experience acquired through previous work experience

* MBA or similar post-graduate studies is highly preferred

* Additionally, the candidate must have 7+ years of industry experience acquired through previous work experience
