The Content Developer role directly supports the Global Sales Education team through the development of blended education resources that integrate product, clinical and sales focused education. This position will work cooperatively with Regional Sales Education, Global and Regional Marketing and other internal partners to develop training solutions that directly support the business goals and strategies of the Surgical Vision channels. The content developer must have the ability to formulate appropriate and effective training solutions, manage multiple projects and work effectively with all levels of the Johnson and Johnson organization.
Primary responsibilities
Create training content using the adult principles of learning for to support the commercial organization
Develop, organize, and produce training content within timelines and established budgets
Route all required content through the approved review process before wrapping content for delivery to end users
Collaborate with global and regional education and marketing partners and various subject matter experts to develop education content
Draft storyboards, scripts and prototypes of training content and proactively manage drafts through stakeholder reviews, revisions, and approvals
Assist with the development of overall training plans
Work with regional teams to ensure content accuracy at the global & regional levels and customize accordingly
Keep record of all approved training content or FDA/and or internal audits
Ensures training activities align with the company sales culture and goals.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required
A minimum of 3 years of education training experience is required
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of eLearning authoring tools is required
Review and proof of digital portfolio will be required
Advanced knowledge in project management (such as Plan writing, Gantt, Workstreams or similar) is required
Confident liaising with various global & regional partners and build strong working relationships
Detail oriented while maintaining project scope
Have a creative mind set, use engaging techniques to create training content
Willing to expand instructional design skills and knowledge
Preferred Experience
Certified multi-media authoring software (minimum storyline 360, Peek, Rise 360, Studio 360, replay 360, strongly prefer: preso, review, iSpring) is preferred
eLearning technical standards (Scorm 1.2, TinCan, xAPI) is preferred
Experience with product launch training development
Content digitization - online course formatting (MOOCS, blended, synchronous, SPOCS)
Scenario and decision-making simulation development
Advanced graphic design software capabilities (adobe InDesign, Adobe illustrator, Canva)
Knowledge of Regulatory CFR, QSR requirements including 21 CFR 820.25(b)
Experience in medical writing and citation processes (MLA, AMA, APA)
LMS integration experience (SSO, API, HRIS, QMS, TRMS)
