Janssen Pulmonary Hypertension is recruiting for an IT Lead - Business Technology that is primarily based in South San Francisco, CA with consideration given to locations throughout the United States with the exception of Colorado.

The Janssen PH Business Technology (BT) Team is co-located with the business and partners with them on delivering advanced information technologies to better support our patients and healthcare professionals. The Business Technology Lead (BTL) will be partnering with our Patient Engagement team to deliver new patient services. In this capacity, the role is expected to focus on all aspects of patient data, i.e. how we collect, store, integrate and aggregate data to get better insights and ultimately improve our services.
In a world where services are more personalized, our intent is to create journeys for patients that are tailored to their needs, provide personalized content and services, through the best channel at the right time. Therefore, a basic understanding of omnichannel services is key.
Responsibilities:
* Lead all business analysis activities related to one or more of our digital products (campaigns, eDetailing, web, analytics, etc)
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of digital technologies including the roadmap and platform features.
* Develop and maintain a holistic digital product roadmap for all applications within area of responsibility, including feature or recommendations to business partners.
* Develop and maintain strong partnership with business, establishing solid understanding of the core business roadmap & needs.
* Demonstrate deep understanding of business roadmap & needs to propose approaches that are less complex/costly while still meeting the core business ask.
* Perform detailed gap analyses on digital products from feature & business process perspective, presenting detailed recommendations on re-platforming/harmonization where applicable.
* Use analytics and other key metrics to help make & advocate for data-driven decisions.
* Agile User Requirements: Works with business partners and to identify/document/translate requirements for IT sprint cycles and in a consumable format and terminology for developers (includes user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframesetc). Explains to the business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint.
* Works in a multidisciplinary environment with Business domain experts, technical experts and a broad range of skills and teams across the organization to concept, design and execute Digital solutions.
* Maintains awareness on emerging technologies, new trends and suppliers related to patient services. Identifies potential partners and understands competition.
* Ensures technology projects are built and documented in accordance with our strict internal and external regulations, including information security, privacy and GxP and all relevant compliance requirements.
* Defines priorities with business stakeholders for technology enablement and investment.
* Represents Business Technology with external vendors and healthcare partners.
* Understands core internal IT products, different data pipelines and marketplace technology offerings. Shapes BT products/offerings to drive business value.
* Functions independently with limited work direction and escalates as appropriate.
* Leads overall programs, cross dependencies and leads the successful delivery of projects to their final project/program objectives.
* Builds networks that include peers, senior IT and business management across the J&J organization, and connections outside J&J with vendors and healthcare partners
* Monitors the progress of program components to ensure overall goals, schedule, budget, and benefits of the program are achieved. Ensure adherence to J&J processes and standards.
Qualifications
* A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required
* A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience working in a pharmaceutical commercial organization is required
* Knowledge of industry and business process trends related to Digital Marketing is required.
* Domain knowledge technologies used to support Digital Marketing is required.
* Experience implementing Web Sites, digital marketing campaigns, and web analytics is preferred.
* Experience with Agile methodologies, including user story creation, backlog prioritization, coordination with scrum teams and UAT is required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal skills
* Must be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, and rapidly changing environment
* Attention to detail with ability to understand big picture
* Travelling up to 25% in a COVID-free world
