Seeking an experienced Department Assistant to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the department. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to assist our nurses and nursing support staff in ensuring the department runs smoothly. * Your primary function in this role will be all patient record and transcription activities.
* You must be able to use Meditech, ANSOS, and KRONOS software proficiently.
* You will anticipate the needs of physicians to enhance patient care.
* You must also ensure appropriate test schedules and patient tracking throughout the system.
* You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Completion of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program preferred.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience with data entry required.
* Experience within a health care environment preferred.
