Job Summary:

* The OR Tech II Certified is an active member of the surgical team in the Operating Room.
* The OR Tech II Certified functions under the direct supervision of the OR nurse.
* He/she is responsible for assisting the OR nurse in assessing the needs of the patients, infancy through life span, and for organizing and planning care sufficient to meet identified needs during the intra-operative phase, by performing technical duties as assigned.
* The OR Tech II Certified supports hospital mission, values and visions.

Qualifications

* One year experience as a Surgical Scrub Technologist preferred;
* BLS required
* Surgical Tech Certification
