SHIFT: Evenings (rotating weekends)
SCHEDULE: Full-time

Position Summary: Responsible for performing short cycle and repetitive activities such as preparing labels and counting pills which require accuracy in all details. Must be adapted to working under direct supervision.

Medical City North Hills is a 160 bed acute care facility that serves the growing population of Northeast Tarrant County. In addition to specialty care in Cardiovascular and Women's Services, Medical City North Hills provides adult and pediatric outpatient surgery, and is also home to Texas' first children's outpatient surgery center.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications:

1. Experience:

A. One or two years of college in a health related major preferred.

B. Computer experience helpful.

2. Specific Requirements:

A. Certified Technician in State of Texas.

B. Ability to follow assignments through to completion.

C. Ability to type, knowledge of metric system and medical terminology.

D. Must be able to maintain a neat and orderly work area.

E. Must be able to work an assigned shift and work weekends and holidays.

F. Must have good oral and written communication skills.

G. Must be knowledgeable in aseptic technique.

H. IV Certification preferred.
