SCHEDULE: Full-time

Registered Nurse (RN) ICU/PCU Step Down Unit - Full Time Nights

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 7p-7a, rotating weekends and holidays

What Will You Be Doing?

* Responsible for clinical management of the patient.
* Participates and understands Quality Management activities.
* Documents nursing care utilizing the appropriate tools.
* Maintains competencies in clinical areas and is responsible for professional growth and development.
* Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards.
* Participates in other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
* BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
* Licensed in the State of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or compact state nursing licensure (required)
* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
* ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
* Previous EKG interpretation preferred
* Must pass a basic heart rhythm test as well as BKAT examination.
* Previous experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
