Global Markets Senior Middle Office Analyst works with the Global Markets Operations team within Commercial Operations. The position supports Middle and Back Office functions across a range of Listed and Over-The-Counter (OTC) derivative products. Within Global Markets Operation, the Middle Office Analyst role will be tasked with providing support for the Front Office IRD and FX Trading and Sales function. The roles will work closely with partners in various Trading, Credit, and Risk functions on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
* The Global Markets Senior Analyst will be responsible for support across the Front, Middle, and Back Office Global Markets teams located in Boston, MA and Riverside, RI.
* The trade processing within Wallstreet systems, Calypso systems, which are the core FX trade capture applications.
* Daily creation and validation of P&L
* Creation of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for clients, risk, audits and ad hoc requests. Reports may include (but are not limited to) documentation tracking, DTCC, Market Risk, Adaptive reporting, Client valuation MTM statements, Interest Statements, and various credit/risk exposure reporting.
* Management and oversight of regulatory reporting to Swap Data Repositories.
* External customer support
* Counterparty analysis, assignment and maintenance within core applications.
* Understanding of internal processes and models for calculating and applying VaR, MTM, and deminimus exemption.
* Gather, document, and analyze data in an effort to assist the Front Office with implementation of new products and strategies.
* P&L attribution reporting as well as detailed analysis of trade reporting for varying risk requirements.

* The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen. Working knowledge of Visual Basics for Applications (VBA), Microsoft Access database creation and maintenance, advanced Microsoft Excel (Macros and V-Lookups) strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with F/X Swift standards (payments and confirmations) and industry standard settlement practices. An understanding of ACH processing as well as general settlements of all currencies as they relate to trade settlement.
* Prior experience with Wallstreet and Calypso preferred.
* Experience with key industry middleware (SEF, Bloomberg, FXALL, Markitrisk, and 360T), Swap Data Repositories (DTCC, EMIR). Integral, and FX Matching platforms (GTSS, Misys) and IHS Markit preferred.
* Demonstrate understanding of industry regulation- particularly Dodd-Frank and subsequent impact to Global Market business.
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of both listed and OTC derivatives, with a focus on Interest Rate Derivative products.
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in supporting FX or IRD trading desks.
* Capable to detecting, interpreting and effectively socializing complex issues.
* Able to multi-task and meet the high levels of demand of time sensitive requests involving high dollar trades.
* Familiarity and background in understanding the reconciliation process for Nostro Accounts and USD.
* A solid understanding of accounting processes in general for researching trade and/or posting issues. The ability to resolve outstanding payment issues for trade settlement.
* This position requires a colleague committed to providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients with extreme attention to detail.
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per week 40 hours per week but the position may require you stay late in order to complete daily tasks or for issue resolution without prior notice.
Work Schedule 8 A.M. to 5 P.M or 8:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M.
