Citizens Bank is seeking an analyst to join the Strategy and Business Support team in the Asset Finance division located in Chicago, IL. The position is part of the team responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring renewable energy investments. In addition, the team provides analytical support to the Asset Management team and other areas of Asset Finance.

Responsibilities:

* Be a strong contributing member of the team responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring renewable energy investments for the Asset Finance division
* Provide analytical and modeling support for renewable energy investments
* Track monthly and quarterly renewable energy portfolio investments and ensure accurate monthly bookings
* Interacting directly with senior management and business partners
* Assist Asset Management team with analytical needs, including residual analysis and inventory reporting
* Coordinate lease renewal set-up and pricing
* Special projects and requests on an as needed basis, including developing ad hoc financial models to assist Senior Management in analyzing viable business opportunities and financial performance

Qualifications

* Minimum of two years experience in a commercial finance, banking or leasing environment
* Must possess strong PC skills, be proficient with Excel, and spreadsheet modeling aspects
* Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized, and articulate manner
* Strong analytical skills
* A proactive, action-oriented approach to problem solving.
* Knowledge of lease transaction structures and lease accounting preferred

Education

* Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Business, (Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred)
