Overview:
Lead of the ICG O&T Data Tracing and Data Lineage program streams under the Data Quality Program. The role is to set the strategy and to deliver the interim milestones for the ICG in order to meet commitments to MRA-remediation and Internal Audit deliverables. The Program Lead will represent the ICG in partnering with internal ICG O&T seniors, and the Chief Data Office, Global Functions Technology, Risk, Finance, Treasury and Global Consumer Bank in shaping strategy and effective execution methods for the Data Quality Program
It is a combined Operations and Technology role, managing resources and dependent stakeholder groups in all global regions. On the Operations side, the Program lead will manage the Document Sourcing, Quality Assurance and Project Delivery teams. They will continue to build out the team resources and skills in the disciplines of data sourcing, data governance, quality assurance to create a robust internal Citi industry-grade capability. The Lead will be a product expert, and will need to be hands-on assisting the teams to navigate the organization to identify the correct source data.
On the Technology side, the Program Lead is responsible for the development of the strategic tools to enable the automated capture and validation of the source documentation. This requires a core build of data extraction, classification, and validation, workflow, integrated into the strategic ICG Data infrastructure and the Global Functions Technology core data management and lineage tools.
Key Objectives Include:
* Manage the Document Sourcing / Data lineage teams across the Data Quality Program for ICG, implementing iterative process improvements and measuring success through KPIs
* Ensure engagement from business SMEs at all levels of management
* Responsibility for development and career progression for immediate reports
* Reporting Document Sourcing / Data Lineage updates to Senior Management through various governance processes
* Liaise with the CDO team to agree requirements to meet Data Tracing / Data Lineage regulatory commitments
* Implement the Target State Operating Model including finding areas of improvement in current state process through critical evaluation or organization, processes and technology
* Oversee technology improvements for both data lineage and tracing. Including, but not limited to, implementation of Manta, Global ID, Solidatus, and Tapestry
* Provide product expertise to improve the efficiency of the Document Sourcing current process
* Oversight and management of vendor resources located across the globe including monitoring and reporting of day to day activities, staffing levels and planning
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement iterative process improvements to the Document Sourcing, Data lineage (manual/technical) processes
* Implement Target State Operating Model for both work streams
* Increase accuracy of source documentation feeding into Data Tracing process, as well as the accuracy of documentation submitted
* Decrease lead times to retrieve source documentation
* Report Document Sourcing / Data lineage updates to Senior Management
* Deliver data lineage applications as committed for MRA to the regulators
* Utilize data lineage results in subsequent data tracing cycles
* Ensure proper ownership and engagement from all stakeholders
Qualifications:
* 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience
* Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects
* Previous program/project management, consulting, technology and/or management
* CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus
Education:
* Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
