Rebates Specialist II

About the role:
Supports the overall rebate administration for BSC. Monitors rebates to be paid and ensures payments are accurate, timely, and within approved guidelines. Reports key metrics and rebate reporting to marketing and field organization. Supports rebate activity regarding account maintenance, and internal/ external reporting and general analysis.

This position is a member of the Shared Services Pricing and Contracting Team in the Corporate Accounts sales organization supporting Corporate Accounts and Division Sales Teams through the calculation and settlement of rebates. The position will focus on the settlement of rebates in several divisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Collects, compiles, and analyzes data to ensure accurate, timely calculation and payment of rebates in accordance with signed contracts.
* Utilizes Model N, SAP, and Excel to gather and analyze rebate data for approved agreements rebates and related contracts.
* Identifies and resolves rebate discrepancies by interacting with various Boston Scientific Businesses, sales representatives, and customers.
* Develops rebate strategies and policies and provides advice and expertise regarding past successful agreements and future options.
* Develops and maintains rebate data bases to report key business metrics, rebate payments, trends, and other performance criteria to pricing and contracting and field management.
* Compiles and analyzes data for sales teams to support the divisional and national account activity.
* Recommends and develops policies and procedures related to rebate business administration to ensure efficiency, and accuracy of operations.
* Evaluates data to create monthly and ad hoc reports for pricing and contracting and field management.
* May interact with sales managers, business analysts, and pricing managers to clarify specifications and resolve questions in contracts containing agreements.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree
* Three plus years of related work experience in the areas of contract administration, sales support/operations, finance, data analytics, customer service operations, or accounting.
* Highly motivated with strong technical and analytical competencies
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Proficiency with MS Office programs with expert Excel spreadsheet capabilities
