Machine Electrical Designer II

About the Role:

To assist the Equipment Engineering department in the design, manufacture, and documentation of equipment to produce medical devices.

Your Responsibilities Include:

* Review work requests with Project Leaders or Requestor for project understanding and clarification. Participate in and successfully contribute to the development & documentation of all electrical design requirements.
* Track and communicate all assigned project schedules and scope changes with Project Leader or Requestor to assure projects meet delivery and cost requirements. Prioritize and manage multiple projects.
* Proficiently create electrical schematics and panel layouts for equipment using AutoCAD Electrical.
* Create detailed drawings and Bill of Material (B.O.Ms)
* Verify and validate detailed drawings and B.O.M.s for adherence to standards and best practices.
* Clarify designs and/or correct redline markups with cross functional team members.
* Research, identify, and procure off the shelf components for custom equipment and fixtures.
* Maintain all documentation utilizing the AutoCAD Electrical PDM system.
* Effectively communicate in written and verbal forms.
* Effectively work in a team environment.

What Were Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Computer Aided Technologies or equivalent
3+ years of Design/Technical experience
AutoCAD Electrical experience required
Electrical machine design experience
Strong creative and problem solving aptitude

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of CAD PDM
