Job Description

The AGCO Acceleration Center is seeking aSite Coordinator for its operation in the Research Park at the University of Illinois. This position reports to and is under direct supervision of the Site Manager.

Education/Experience

* Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, communication, labor relations or similar required.
* Previous recruiting/career services or research administration experience (at least 2-3 years).
* Experience in an academic institution and/or an ag/tech company is highly preferred.
* Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and to prioritize work
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and planning skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in recruiting, hiring, and managing interns for projects across AGCO Corporation to support AGCO Acceleration Center. Assist in the development and implementation of collaborative programs with AGCO and faculty, researchers and departments at universities in the Central US (primarily UIUC). Assist in program and event management for the Champaign site. Manage site operations and communications for the AGCO Acceleration Center.

Specific activities may include:

* Conducting background research and gathering information needed for business development and university relations/research collaborations.
* Assisting with project and program presentations, reports and other materials.
* Preparing for and working at recruitment opportunities for student and full time employees such as career fairs and networking events.
* Assisting in planning and implementing events by recruiting speakers and attendees, gathering materials and setting up for presentations, preparing and distributing supplemental materials, and other support at events.
* Support with administrative tasks including intern tracking, onboarding, offboarding etc.
* Other duties as assigned.
