Job Description
Join the Coram/CVS Health team as a Prior Authorization Rep and you will support the Enteral Nutrition Center by requesting and maintaining timely follow up on authorizations needed for successful reimbursement of claims. Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with Coram branch associates. Strong mathematical skills are required.
As a Prior Authorization Rep you will
- Maintain insurance authorizations for new and current patients.
- Work closely with various staff to collect additional information needed in order to process authorization requests.
- Scan and upload documents from insurance providers into electronic records system and notify appropriate departments.
- Submit changes to patient prescriptions in the system and obtain authorization for payment.

Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30 CST

Required Qualifications
* Minimum year experience working in a customer service or call center environment.
* Data entry experience.
* Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Typing speed of 50+ WPM (words per minute).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a home health/home infusion setting.
* Experience work in a healthcare environment.
* Experience working with healthcare agencies in an effort to obtain medical authorizations.
Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
