The Manager, RA Business Support is responsible for providing operational support to RA sub functions. Each Manager is responsible to act as the lead for a support arm of the RA Business Support organization and participate in the others. These support arms include User Support Tickets; Metrics & Reporting; Knowledge Management; and User Education. Core responsibilities include supporting users in onboarding to and in the day-to-day use of global RA Systems, tracking this support activity using a ticket tracking system, and providing support for system and process initiatives.
* Leads and manages all activities related to HC tracking and reporting including analysis, database management, refinement, generation of organization charts, and ad hoc reporting. Captures and maintains relevant people related information, communicates issues and follows up to resolution.
* Assures alignment with Finance approved headcount numbers. Triages, validates and communicates relevant information to various stakeholders across Regulatory Affairs. Leads headcount related process improvement initiatives collaborating with Finance.
* Identifies issues and workable solutions to function processes and communicates them to the Operations Director.
* Directs Personnel Acquisition and Change Tool (PACT) process and associated documentation, training, and enhancements.
* Leads efforts to document current processes and creates process flow diagrams depicting activities. Identifies gaps and assumptions in the current process. Reduces the current assumptions and gaps by proactively identifying and defining project risks and developing mitigation plans with key stakeholders.
* Manages relationship with Manpower/Tapfin programs; managing all related activities including initial requests for contract help, coordination of interviews, payments, reporting, and required Leave Of Absences (LOA)'s
* Responsible for RA Common Metrics for executive management review
* Represents Business Operations team on cross-functional projects providing subject matter expertise
* Responsibility of management of employees and oversight of contract personnel when necessary, Provides input into resource projections for internal and external contributors as indicated. Liaison for contract and RA personnel.
* Uses multiple systems/software tools (SRM, SalesForce, OrgPlus, Fieldglass, SharePoint) to capture, read analyze and report pertinent data
Qualifications
* Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years equivalent experience, or Bachelors degree
* Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree
* Required Experience: 6 years pharmaceutical or industry related experience. Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Experience working in a complex and matrix environment
* Preferred Experience: 3 years in pharma, healthcare or related industry. 3 years experience in a business operations role; and/or experience in finance/accounting/procurement
* Excellent organization skills and detail oriented. Proven leadership skills and presence
* Multiple years of project planning and management experience including successful implementation of business and/or technology initiatives. Experience analyzing business problems and facilitating the design of innovative solutions
* Note: Higher education may compensate for years of experience
