The BTS (IT) Jr. Project Manager Intern will help with technical project management and business program management for key strategic initiatives supporting the brand team. This role will assist with all internal groups and external third-party service providers to establish project plans which considers critical tasks, durations, and dependencies. The Project Manager is expected to be help with management of meetings, solicitation of agendas, distribution of meeting minutes, tracking completion of action items and regular updates on project status.

Goal of Internship:

Further reduce duration to complete solution proposals and project estimates. 1) Provide Training to BTL's, Tech Leads and PM's on how to fill out the Project Proposal. 2) Look for ways to implement Lego block concept to project estimates in the project proposal 3) Implement a workflow form in smartsheets to replace the Excel version of the project proposal. 4) Reduce the planning phase from 30 workdays to 25 workdays.

Specifically, the Junior Project Manager is expected to help with:

Develop, execute and manage the project within the defined scope.

Manage a multitude of interrelated projects within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Partner with business sponsors/key stakeholders to confirm project success criteria.

Responsible for the overall project delivery consisting of large concurrent projects which are managed by multiple project managers.

Establish and ensure transparent reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.

Qualifications

* Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint

Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum GPA = 3.0/4.0
* Returning to university for at least one semester
* Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a master's degree in Communications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology and Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
* Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
* Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship. (students on an F1 visa with CPT may be accommodated)
