Cytiva is currently expanding our Manufacturing and Engineering facility in Logan, Utah. We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who will lead the function locally and provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, and acquisition as appropriate. The role is part of the site leadership and will work with key business functions at the site to define and drive the business strategy for the future of the site.
What youll do
* Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs, and initiatives
* Provide excellent human resources partnership to the management team and associates including input and direction regarding team development, organizational development, personal/professional development of associates, and employee relations matters.
* Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners; navigates employees and manager to HR Services when it is the more appropriate resource
* Responsible for ensuring that the site designs, maintains, and develops a robust culture to ensure a safe, stimulating, and socially responsible working environment that also meets industry best practices for overall employee experience.
* Facilitate the talent assessment and selection process for hourly and salary positions
* Facilitate leadership development programs and training courses
* Interpret company policies and procedures
* Manage annual performance management and compensation processes for client groups
* Maintain and provide analytics to various stakeholders
* Manage relevant communication for client groups
* Evaluate risks and provide advice for risk management procedures, processes, policies, and practices
* Support training and development activities
* Escalate critical issues to appropriate management
* Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and investigations.
* Develop HR Generalist and HR Assistant.
* Other duties as assigned
Who you are
* Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred
* PHR or SPHR certification preferred
* Minimum 8 years of relevant human resources generalist experience plus 2+ years leadership experience
* Experience supporting manufacturing-based organizations is preferable
* Working knowledge of Workday is a plus
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, listening and influence skills and be able to present facts clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization
* Possess strong time management and organizational skills
* Candidate must have solid team skills, ability to build relationships, and be able to work efficiently and effective with associates at all levels of the organization
* Proven experience working with confidential or sensitive information
