The Clinical Data Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing technical and day-to-day application support. This position is part of the Clinical Affairs organization and will be located in Miami, FL, Chaska, MN or Remote.

This role is part of the Biometrics and Data Management team and report to the Senior Manager of Data Management responsible for supporting Data Management department in projects needing data, reports, and coordination. In this role, you will have the opportunity to

* Develop and execute the data management plan (DMP) for clinical studies
* Develop data transfer agreement(s) between external data sources and/or labs.
* Assist in database upgrades/migrations including performing user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Maintain/track of EDC user management and other clinical databases across allocated clinical trials, compile master user lists and activate/deactivate user accounts.
* Perform database lock and freeze activities.
* Develop database clinical trial data specifications, including eCRF design, user requirements, edit rules/checks, query logic, and data validations.
* Support all activities related to instrument data labeling and merging with EDC Patient data for final statistical analysis

The essential requirements of the job include:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Pharmaceuticals Sciences, Life Sciences or related fields and 5+ years experience in Clinical Research and Data Management.
* Design, program, manage and document subject, lab, and vendor clinical trial database projects and ensure process improvement and the promotion of new tools and techniques.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

* Understanding of laboratory, EHR and clinical data.
* Capability of Medidata study build.
* Knowledge and experience with Medidata Rave and/or other EDC systems
* Technical abilities with data and analytics tools, including MS office-excel, SAS or other software packages.
