The Role



We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. Architect will be responsible for all user computing technologies and directly impact the productivity of all business units.



As Architect you will:




* Responsible for overall systems design and architecture, including new solutions and patterns

* Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements

* Define and refine methodology and standards for setup, design and implementation of the application or technology to meet the needs of the business and IT customers

* Provide the strategic direction for some of our most critical solutions including PC, Laptop, mobile, and conference room technologies.

* Ensure the technical direction across End User Technologies and broader technology teams.

* Integrate with Enterprise Architecture providing two way communication.

* Create and update end user capability roadmaps for the suite of endpoint products.

* Generate detailed system requirements with cost projections, cost benefit analysis and ROI



Additionally you will bring:




* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.

* 5+ years of relevant design and architecture experience.

* IT experience within managed care environment highly preferred.

* Demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field.

* MS 365 Implementation; Unified Endpoint Management; Device as Choice (Windows vs. Mac)

* Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.

* Demonstrate understanding of incident resolution processes for endpoints including workstations, VDI, Citrix, Windows, UNIX and Linux environments.

* Systems security experience including Cloud, endpoint intelligent tools, scanning, hardening, data loss prevention, incident response, and reporting preferred.

* SIEM, endpoint, network, troubleshooting, scripting, and automation experience preferred.



This position will be supporting a Federal government contract, therefore it requires U. S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 or higher security.
