Job Description

Job Summary

* The Owner Relations Manager is responsible for maintaining the unit's quality and communicating effectively with unit owners in this regard. The Owner Relations Manager will be responsible for optimizing unit quality and balancing the investment of the owner with expectations of the guest. S/he will provide input on establishing housekeeping & engineering procedures and ensuring that all policies and procedures related to property management operations are adhered to by all property management staff. Owner Relations Manager will be the lead in Silverado's Renovation project and will oversee all contractors, procurement companies and vendors for the mutual benefit of the Condominium Owners and the Resort, and is responsible for the Renovation budget.

Education & Experience

* At least 5 years progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 3 to 5 years of related experience.

Physical Requirements

* Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking
* Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance
* Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
* Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
* While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
* Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions {rain, wind, heat)

General Requirements

* Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
* Must have excellent phone etiquette
* Must be able to read, write and speak English
* Must have strong computer skills
* Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Must be able to work well under pressure
* Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
* Must be highly detailed orientated
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
* Must have excellent listening skills
* Must possesses excellent communication skills
* Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
* Must always ensure a teamwork environment
* Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
* Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the guests, owners and associates
* Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
* Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
* Must have the mobility to handle off-property vendor contacts, e.g., companies that sell light fixtures, furniture packages, tile, etc.

Fundamental Requirements

* Inspect each rental property for maintenance and housekeeping needs relating to hard goods, soft goods, and overall furniture, fixtures, and appliances. Work Closely with Quality Assurance Manager on these areas.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance management in effectively addressing unit issues based upon occupancy and seasonality
* Work in tandem with Rooms Director to set out of service schedules for rooms based on renovation cycles and occupancy.
* Act as a liaison with community regime managers in matters effecting regime controlled areas of owner property
* Interact and represent self as a leader of the resort
* Meet with owners while on property to maintain positive relations. Owner Relations Manager is the liaison between Condominium Owners and the Resort.
* Inspect units changing ownership and send written report to the listing real estate agent and the owner of the requirements that are needed to bring the unit up to Silverado's standards; meet with the prospective owners; show them examples of units that meet Silverado's standards.
* Work with Condominium Owners to complete specified renovations to design and bring all Units up to full compliance.
* Set Policy and conduct standards for all contractors and their subs while on property
* Work with local Realtors and communicate quality standards for Units sold or selling
* Maintain monthly communication with owners as designated by the Director of Operations
* Maintain accurate files for related correspondence
* Work with Engineering Department for interior maintenance inspections for all units
* Become knowledgeable of Silverado unit standards and supply owner's feedback regarding standard compliance.
* Coordinate unit repairs and construction with homeowners, contractors and operational staff
* Assist owners with Resort operational concerns such as housekeeping and engineering
