Position Summary

The Store Device Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the planning and implementation of strategic goals for in-store and driver mobile devices and software.

Responsibilities

The Store Device Senior Business Analyst will:

* collaborate with end-users, business stakeholders, and technical resources to plot a mobile device roadmap for store-facing, customer-facing, and employee-assigned device use cases.
* establish an IT governance process for store mobile devices and develop and implement all IT policies and procedures for stores mobile devices.
* document end-user and business requirements for mobile devices and drive solutions to implementation.
* be responsible for ensuring compatibility and interoperability of internal and external apps on both desktop systems and mobile devices through the testing of new apps, new configurations, and new operating systems on devices before deployment to the field.
* analyze device and app usage and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems including making recommendations for app expansion and development.
* coordinate the technical efforts of cross functional teams to deploy and support devices and serve as the technical contact for the business in requesting configuration changes.
* work with Engineering, Corporate Messaging and Collaboration, and Information Security & Privacy to develop configuration and update processes and protocols.
* provide technical services and support to Depot Maintenance through management of the Apple Configurator software used to restore the OS on Apple devices and for sideloading device configuration profiles.
* responsible for training and communications to both the SCO and GSD helpdesk, as well as providing 2nd level configuration support for SCO helpdesk.
* take a lead role in the evaluation and recommendation of mobile device hardware and accessories to meet user and business needs, as well as, considering integration points with desktop systems.
* establish and leverage relationships with key hardware, software, and service vendors and take a lead role in working with these vendors to solution, test, and implement functional, security, and feature troubleshooting or enhancements to better support both user experience and our internal policies.
* will support both the stores and technical teams with device documentation and training as required.

Position Requirements

Education

Required:

* High School Diploma
* Bachelor degree in IT, Business or related field or equivalent experience

Experience

Required:

* 5+ years IT and/or Business experience
* Hands-on experience developing and executing test cases and test plans
* Demonstrable experience analyzing, troubleshooting and designing solutions to issues
* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
* Documented Written Communication Skills
* Experience being able to develop functional specifications to provide technical direction
* direct authority

Preferred:

* SW Stores experience
* Analytics experience
* Experience with a technical background in mobile and iDevices a plus
* Mobile device configuration and security management
* UX experience

Requirements

Required:

* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required
* Understanding of various essential business functions of an organization
* Knowledge of phases of the SDLC
* Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
