Job Summary:

Magical dining experiences abound at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. To accommodate our guests arriving every day from all over the world, our Quick Service and Table Service Restaurants provide the perfect setting for any occasion.
Disneys Vero Beach Resort Food & Beverage Cast Members interact with guests every day by sharing information, answering questions, providing great guest service and make sure that no guest walks away hungry!

Cast members work in fast-paced environments and are trained in both our Table Service and Quick Service locations.

This role requires FULL AVAILABILITY for any shift, a minimum of (3) three days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities in our Quick Service location include:

* Taking orders
* Operating a point-of-sale system (POS register) and cash handling
* Fulfilling orders and food preparation
* Maintaining a clean work environment
* Stocking items and keeping inventory

In our Table Service location, Cast Members are responsible for:

* Greeting Guests upon arrival and seating Guests in the dining room
* Maintaining a seating chart
* Answering questions about menu items and resolving Guest situations

Basic Qualifications:

* You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
* Previous cashier experience
* Previous quick service or related restaurant industry experience
* Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
* Demonstrate computer knowledge and skills
* Excellent Guest Service skills
* Additional responsibilities include bussing tables, running food, folding napkins, light cleaning and assisting Servers as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual preferred
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible in addition to being a self-starter with proven initiative
* Demonstrate problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills with attention to detail and impeccable follow through
* Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Resort Hotel operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
