Dietary Aide - Dishwasher
Shift: Day Shift
Position: Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY The Dietary Aide is responsible for the following: Food supplement supplies to Detox, adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the dish room and Kitchen remain clean at all times, Setting up salad Bar and Cleanup of salad Bar, operating the dish machine, Daily equipment cleaning for respective days. Stocking Paper products after lunch and dinner in the Kitchen and dining room. Possession of food service food handler's permit required.

For over 50-years, the Calvary Healing Center has provided leading residential and outpatient addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area. Calvary's proven treatment programs address the practical, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers a 50-bed residential treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction, while also providing a separate Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient levels of care. A standalone 18-bed detox facility is also on-site and located in a separate wing to better address the needs of those who require extra care before officially entering the treatment program.

Qualifications
Experience: Must have prior experience in food service, and have a basic knowledge of food service sanitation.
1. Ability to manipulate various kitchen equipment and utensils.
2. Ability to read menus and recipes.
3. Ability to work within deadlines.
4. Ability to stand and walk about the kitchen and facility frequently.
5. Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time.
6. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and pull and push up to 50 pounds.
7. Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -0 F. to 100 F. and higher.
8. Ability to stoop, kneel and bend daily.
9. Ability to reach, twist and turn above and below the waist.
10. Ability to use both hands to accomplish assigned duties.
11. Prepared to handle hazardous chemicals as needed.
12. Ability to see, taste, smell and hear to assess products served and produce a safe work environment.
