Responsibilities

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta (LCCA) is looking for an awesome Utilization Review Nurse (RN).

The Utilization Review Nurse is responsible for conducting clinical review of data to determine eligibility respective to pre-certification and continued stay reviews. Position coordinates all utilization functions, monitoring the utilization and continuum of services to optimize reimbursement. Conducts utilization reviews to determine if patients are receiving care appropriate to illness or condition. Monitors patient charts and records to evaluate care concurrent with the patients' treatment. Reviews treatment plans and status of approvals from insurers. Collects and complies data as required and according to applicable policies and regulations. Consults with physicians as needed.

Qualifications

* Must possess a current GA or Multistate RN license.
* Must have at least 1 year of experience in the delivery of care to psychiatric and/or chemically dependent patients.
* Must have prior experience working in utilization management.
