As part of our Customer Strategic Initiatives (CSI) team, you will help us promote high-quality execution of the healthcare experiences sold to our customers, preventing disruptions in access to care and operational efficiency.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Be an active participant on an agile development team building a web application that is transforming how we approach testing our plans and benefits of major customers before they are released to the mass-populous
* Develop dynamic and visually appealing UI components to be incorporated into the grander Test Orchestration Tool
* Collaborate directly with program leadership on potential features and functionalities to be incorporated into the Test Orchestration Tool
* Leverage opportunities to learn, research, and introduce new modern frameworks and libraries
* Engage external organizations on how the Test Orchestration Tool can assist with their testing
* Participate in ideation of modern technology use cases to help our 1-1 readiness partners better serve our customers
* Collaborate with other scrum teams to build cohesive and optimal solutions
* Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Ensuring code standards and code quality and security are met

Required Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in software development
* 2+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Object oriented design
* 1+ years of experience in Java
* 1+ years of experience with Relational Databases
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with ReactJS, NodeJS/Express, MySQL Server
* Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift
* Exposure to UI/UX Design concepts
* Familiarity with Microservices concepts
* Familiarity with Web Portal Testing Frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber)

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
