Responsibilities:

* Clean and sterilize assigned area, including lavatories, operating rooms, patient examination rooms.
* Dispose of all non-biological waste.
* Mix and use cleaning chemicals.
* Secure area of responsibility.
* Work as a team member within the support services department and all other Polyclinic departments.
* Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

* High school diploma /GED
* Able to lift routinely 50 pounds (may require moving heavier furniture from time to time).
* Able to do repetitious work with equipment, i.e., vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, etc.
* Must have current driver's license and acceptable driving record.
* Willing to work overtime if needed
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous custodial experience
* Must be able to effectively cope with typical job stress.
* Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Managers, peers and patients.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Basic knowledge of hand tools and safe usage
* Organizational skills to schedule nightly, weekly, monthly cleaning tasks
