As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives. This is a position that affords you the ability to drive processes and improvement initiatives. By gathering and documenting business requirements and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system.

Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Serve as the voice of the Business in work orders that impact related items
* Coordinate requirements gathering sessions to assess customer needs and requirements
* Collaborate with cross functional teams that include Architects, Business Analysis, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers
* Continuously communicate with the Business the status and timelines of development efforts
* Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience leading business requirements gathering and documenting technology initiatives
* 5+ years of experience working with, manipulating, joining and analyzing complex data sets in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and similar tools
* 5+ years of experience driving improvements in BSA approaches and working closely with program and project leaders to become a trusted source of business and system analysis
* 3+ years of experience working with the business side and influencing without authority
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
