Position Overview:
This role is working to deliver the Digital 2.0 strategy to our Medicare members by supporting for one of the main workstreams to engage members digitally with personalized, relevant experiences. As a Capability Manager, you will become an expert at understanding member and provider problems and using that understanding to optimize user experiences on our digital structures. You will identify opportunities for developing solutions, and then design and implement these solutions, working with engineering to see products and features through the full life cycle. Being a Digital 2.0 Capability Manager requires alignment with business and/or product strategy, effective design and development, and ongoing management of capability portfolio across the full lifecycle to ensure business-specific or cross-enterprise impact.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead product strategy, synthesizing line of business market needs and competitive analysis and formulating product direction and roadmaps
* Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on specific marketplace and IT topics / issues - collaborate with internal leaders and external business partners to gain understanding of their business needs and adapt product strategy and business plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
* Support various engineering and project management functions by acting as a liaison between business, product, and development teams to help reduce redundant efforts, increase reuse of existing components, and identify opportunities during design to ensure components are built in such a way as to support external marketability
* Manage and ensure compliance with product management, software engineering, and IT structures / processes / technologies.
* Grow and maintain knowledge of and leverage product management, big data engineering & analytics, software engineering, and IT industry / marketplace technologies and trends
* Define Minimum Viable Product features needed for new capabilities
* Lead and work within agile development teams to identify and support core competencies and key features and function
* Play an active role in release and sprint planning to ensure the requirements are tracked and delivered on time and within scope
* Seek to learn the business you are supporting and own its evolution holistically. Drive to understand the What and Why and connect the benefit of technology to the business capability and be able to clearly articulate this to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience in product or program management role
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to lead translating customer needs into product design documentation including features, user stories, product capabilities and market requirements

Colorado Residents Only: The Salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
