Description
This job is responsible for designing and building one of the largest privately owned communications networks in the United States. The candidate will be responsible for implementing new communications solutions that support train movement and other mission-critical applications across the country. Core communications technologies include IP networking, WiFi, microwave radio, VHF radio, and fiber optics. Periodic travel is optional, but not required.
Accountabilities
Research, design, and implement telecommunication infrastructure to meet business customers needs.
Provide technical direction to support teams and customers.
Coordinate and direct multiple teams to complete projects.
Manage and maintain networking equipment and application specific products-including hardware and software solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
A Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in this field
Preferred
A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field
GPA of 3.0 or higher
