Job Description

Position Summary

RRD is seeking a dynamic individual to support their Commercial Print Business. This individual is responsible for compliance and analytics, reporting, forecasting and evaluation of results in compliance with RRD policies. The ideal candidate will partner with the operations team to share insights and lead business improvements to drive financial results. He/she will provide appropriate financial information to Plant VP and departmental managers to enable them to establish effect goals and monitor operating performance.

Responsibilities:

* Owner of business financial statements - completes monthly FS review process
* Leads monthly business review meetings
* Strategic planning
* Annual Planning/Budgeting
* Forecasting (Views/Outlooks)
* Policies & Procedure Compliance
* Variance Analysis Review
* Capital Planning
* Project Accounting/Analytics
* FP&A Operations Support
* Monitors Key Performance Indicators (Labor % VA, DSO, DIOH, etc.) and works with Plant President to develop correction actions as necessary
* Manages the process of improving working capital.
* Reviews customer and job profitability to evaluate sales and production performance as well as the accuracy of the data.
* Participates in periodic evaluation and revision of budgeted hourly rates and manufacturing standards used for estimating & job costing.
* Develops tools to provide critical financial and operational information and make actionable recommendations on both operations and strategy.
* Prepares regular and ad hoc reports about Plant financial status as appropriate.
* Complete monthly commission
* Auditing
* Oversees monthly physical inventory counts and is responsible for tracking/valuing all materials, work in progress, and finished goods at month end. Performs and documents review of inventory obsolescence in accordance with RRD policy.

Required Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
* CPA or MBA is preferred.
* Advanced Excel skills are required.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is preferred.
* Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
* Experience working in a Fortune 500 company or large corporate environment is preferred.
* Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.
* Excellent technical knowledge of budgeting, cash management and financial analysis processes, including forecasting and financial modeling.
* Ability to handle complex financial modeling across multiple projects
* Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.
* Must be able to prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.
* Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
* Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
* Must be able to work with senior level management throughout company to analyze financial situations and make recommendations.
