Job Summary:
As part of a Technology Development team, individual works closely with business stakeholders, analyzes business requirements and problems, and drives research to design quality technical solutions. This role requires in-depth understanding of Database mechanisms and performance tuning with Oracle. Work requires coordination across ETL, DB, BI/SSRS reports, Web UI, and Middleware developers, and across multiple regions and time zones. Therefore, a diversified technical background is preferred. All processes will be deployed with Unix/Linux environments; therefore, a working understanding of Unix/Linux is required. This position will be based out of our St Petersburg, FL headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather requirements, assess gaps and build roadmaps and architectures to help the analytics-driven organization achieve its goals.
Analyze source system data and work with technical and business representatives to determine strategies for handling data anomalies that are identified.
Builds scalable and reliable ETL/ELTsystems to pull large and complex data together from different systems efficiently.
Develop, implement, & optimize stored procedures, views, and functions using T-SQL, PL-SQL.
Partner with cross-functional teams to build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
Collaborate with technical/business leaders, product owners, software engineers, and business analysts to acquire and understand requirements/acceptance criteria.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
Provides on-call support of Data Integration Batch processes on a rotating basis and other on-call as required.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant development or engineering experience or combination of education, training and experience.
Strong experience with Database Architecture, SQL, Database performance/Optimization.
Experience in CI/CD build, release, deploy process with Git / Docker containers.
Experience in BMC Control M scheduler for batch Jobs orchestration.
Experience with Linux, Pearl, and shell scripting.
Experience in large data analysis and defect analysis.
Advanced working knowledge of the following:
- SSIS
- ODI
- T-SQL
- PL/SQL
- ETL concepts and building ETL solutions
Tableau/Dashboard experience is a plus.
Domain knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, and in general compliance knowledge is a big plus.
May occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
