WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be responsible for identifying strategic and creative solutions to finance NIKEs global enterprise and operational risks. The main challenge is navigating a continually changing environment both internally and externally. The Risk Finance Strategy & Solutions (S&S) Manager will have responsibility to innovate and to communicate strategy and program structures clearly and effectively to internal partners. They will also have responsibility to maintain and develop key external relationships for the purpose of benchmarking and insurance market intelligence. The Risk Finance S&S Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the risk finance team and their key responsibilities that include annual insurance program renewals, and the daily operations of NIKEs captive insurance company.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Support the development of NIKEs next five-year global risk financing strategy

- Help identify, investigate, evaluate, and implement innovative risk finance opportunities and solutions

- Develop annual coverage line renewal strategies

- Create communication plans for risk finance programs

- Plan creative communication for underwriter meetings

- Develop internal marketing plan for Risk Finance and Claims

- Facilitate risk consultant/broker RFPs

- Coach successful team development and performance

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this key role, you will report directly to the Global Risk Finance & Claims Director and manage the Risk Finance team. You will work closely and partner with other designated NIKE risk management teams to continuously monitor and analyze exposures, develop and/or evolve risk management programs that amplify the NIKE risk aware culture. These internal partners include NIKEs Global Risk Management (GRM), RESILIENCE, Information Risk Management (IRM), Loss Prevention and/or Legal teams. External partners include NIKEs global insurance brokers and consultants, as well as peer group risk finance mangers. (NIKE peer groups consist of companies with similar revenue size, market capitalization, brand value, products, or markets.)

WHAT YOU BRING
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the commercial Property and Casualty insurance industry, Executive Risk (D&O and Fiduciary Liability), Aviation, Marine, Employee Benefits, and/or Captive Insurance operations

- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in business administration, risk management, insurance, finance, accounting, or related field. MBA, CPCU, ARM, AIC or similar risk or claims management certifications a plus

- Minimum Experience: 5+ years in risk finance (insurance), risk management, risk control program management, insurance claims or related field. Fortune 500 company a plus

- Proficient with Microsoft software business applications including Powerpoint, Word, and Excel; as well as Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) experience; and a general knowledge of business systems and how they support the organization

- Proven track record to prioritize and adjust to change quickly; and organize and handle complex workloads and projects in a fast pace organization. Flexible, logical and practical. Aggressively curious.

- Effective verbal and written communications skills, including an ability to make presentations in front of a broad range of audiences

- Ability to work independently and cooperatively among diverse groups

- Pro-active, positive demeanor and a great teammate

- Proven analytical skills
