Financial Analyst
Major Function and Scope:
* Support FP&A and Accounting teams on various tasks
* Review and analyze corporate SG&A; identify outliers and report on results
* Upload financial forecast to reporting systems, ensure accuracy for sales and margins
* Support annual plan process
* Review Intercompany accounts and assist with reconciliations where needed
* Assist with journal entries as needed
* Prepares ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
* Assist in month end close process
* Supports special projects as needed
Position Requirements:
-B.S. in finance with some accounting classes or knowledge is helpful
-Strong organization skills and attention to detail
-Analytical skills with ability to provide meaningful feedback
-Systems experience, preferably in Excel, and SAP
-Seeker of continuous improvement; simply processes
-General ledger knowledge helpful, not required
-Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively
-Good interpersonal skills through demonstrated ability to establish relationships
-Ability to make decisions and work independently to develop and implement solutions
-Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, while meeting tight deadlines and giving attention to detail
-Strong work ethic and can do attitude

This segment markets and distributes its flooring products under the Aladdin Commercial, Durkan, IVC, Karastan, Mohawk, Mohawk Group, Mohawk Home, Pergo, Portico, Quick-Step, and SmartStrand brands. The Flooring ROW segment provides hardwood flooring and vinyl flooring, as well as roofing elements, insulation boards, and chipboards products under the Balterio, Feltex, Godfrey Hirst, Hycraft, Itec, IVC, Leoline, Moduleo, Pergo, Quick-Step, and Unilin and Xtratherm brands; and licenses patents related to flooring manufacturers.
