Lead Digital Strategist

Digital & Customer Experience is looking for an exceptional and innovative individual to join the team to help refine and lead the Digital Strategy of Citizens Bank. This senior leader will support business goals by partnering with key functions across both the Consumer and Commercial bank.

Primary responsibilities include:

* Focus on refining the overall Digital Strategy, identification and evaluation of new areas for investment and supporting strategy execution across our enterprise team and lines of businesses
* Thinks strategically about the entire industry to identify new sources of value for the company and builds the organizational momentum needed to seize breakout growth trajectories
* Manage relationships with competitive intelligence and research partners
* Ensure recommendations are driven through to implementation by providing thought leadership and, when necessary, stepping in to lead execution
* Package strategic and analytical insights into a clear, concise and executive ready
* Drive and support a range of strategic initiatives, partnering with business lines
* Coordinate with other strategy teams in the bank
* Partners with key members of online & mobile, product, technology, operations, and support services team to execute against the long term digital strategy

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

* Excellent leadership and relationship building skills
* Best in class analytical capabilities: top notch quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
* Fast, informed decision maker
* Proactive and self-driven, yet also be willing to take direction
* Ability to translate complex business concepts into a simple narrative
* Experience with strategy in digital or financial Services
* Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment
* Organized, controlled, engaged, polished meeting management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

* Bachelors degree required; BA in Marketing, Finance or eCommerce preferred experience
* 7+ years strategy and/or digital experience with at least 5 years driving, defining and shaping overall Digital Strategy.
* Experience at a leading management consulting firm and/or within a top tier corporate strategy is preferred

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong knowledge of digital technologies (big data, AI, blockchain, mobility, web/mobile app development)
* Experience with development life-cycle, release management, and risk & technical debt mitigation
* Strong understanding of Agile methodology
