Were looking for systems generalist leaders to build teams with a passion for infrastructure and building scalable solutions to seemingly intractable problems in the network planning space. Systems we build drive informed business decisions towards building highly available and timely growing network infrastructure that is used optimally in bandwidth-sharing mode. We solve problems using Stochastic systems, Optimization, Machine learning and scalable distributed systems. Specific experience in managing and developing scalable solutions to complex problems in distributed systems approach is required. Software Engineering Managers are clearly characterized by progressive technical experience and demonstrated progression in management responsibility. You bring an unwavering passion for managing the dynamics of a fast-paced environment.

Software Engineering Manager, Network Planning Responsibilities

* Help define and drive regular development of an aggressive technical roadmap to meet the needs of the team, and partner teams

* Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapting quickly to new information and re-prioritizing as needed

* Manage engineers working to build, scale, deploy and support network planning, network modeling and bandwidth allocation systems for our global network infrastructure

* Partner closely with partner teams in form of network engineering, software infrastructure and applications

* Communicate cross-functionally and drive engineering efforts

Minimum Qualifications

* 5+ years experience managing a wide-area-networking related software engineering team

* Knowledge of distributed systems, machine learning and data pipelines

* Experience in distributed systems and large scale infrastructure

* BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience

* Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers
