The Business Engineering and Partner Solutions team (BEPS) provides businesses with the solutions they need to face the tasks of today, as well as the expertise to engineer a path to the future. Facebook is looking for a leader who is excited to combine startup-like agility with the scale of a large company to help grow one of our most strategic ads product pillars. As the leader of this team, you will empower people and businesses to leverage their existing tools to purposefully share data and build relationships to reach new people through better ads targeting and measurement of their business growth. You will also be responsible for recruiting and developing a team of driven, ambitious business athletes, each of whom operates as general manager for their respective product and growth initiatives. You will influence a global cross-functional team across a variety of disciplines including product management, product marketing, engineering, sales, partner management, operations, and channel marketing to scale impact at a global level. To be successful in the role, you will be a well-rounded operator a people leader and mentor, an analytical problem solver and product expert, who understands the marketing and commerce tech landscape, as well as a dynamic leader in complex cross-functional environments and with partners. This is a full time position and will report into the Director of Commerce & Signals for Partner Product Solutions.
Partner Product Solutions Team Manager, Signals Responsibilities
* Hire, lead and mentor a team of product partnership management professionals
* Work in a highly cross-functional environment to define and drive partner-product strategy to enable business success through third-party product development opportunities and co-marketing investments
* Identify innovative solutions in the market through expertise on partners capabilities and influence partners to develop such solutions
* Manage portfolio of third-party investment areas ranging from early stage ideation to multi-billion dollar scaling programs, leading team of individual contributors to continue driving impact
* Lead large, global, cross-functional teams including business development, solutions engineering, marketing, data science, and partner management teams to build market insights and aligned execution against key priority areas
* Represent Facebook in external meetings with seasoned executives, both internally and externally
* Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Minimum Qualifications
* 15+ years of experience in product management, partnerships, business development or business strategy
* Bachelors Degree
* Demonstrated experience of influencing behavior at variety of levels within an organization, including cross-functional leaders
* Scrappy, resourceful, action and detail-oriented experience, with a high ownership to deliver measurable impact
* Experience working through and mentoring others operating in ambiguity to develop a strategy, set aggressive goals, and execute
* Demonstrated track record of working with both data science and go-to-market teams and drive customer empathy across teams to shape strategy and execution
* Experience developing proven relationships with key cross-functional partners and leaders across the company and coordinate with working teams (e. g. product, product marketing, engineering, business development, marketing, human resources, sales planning/operations and finance)
* Experience learning and shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree such as an MBA
* Experience in and understanding of the Ads and Commerce Landscapes
* Experience understanding complex advertising technologies around targeting, optimization, and attribution and demonstrated experience simplifying for a broad audience
* Deep knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology
* Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
