At Facebook Reality Labs, our goal is to invent the user interface technologies that will drive the future of augmented-reality experiences. As a Visiting Researcher, you would focus on identifying the gaps between eye tracking use cases and the research metrics that enable them. You will be expected to network across cross-functional teams to develop documentation and insights that accelerate the applications of research, inform strategic research decisions, and strengthen partnerships. Our augmented reality research involves multiple fields across applied machine learning, computer vision, optical sciences, human-computer interaction, graphics, health, privacy, AI, engineering, and the cognitive and perceptual vision sciences. Researchers will have the opportunity to drive experimental design decisions, collaborate on academic papers, and vendor and academic engagements.
