Facebook is looking to hire a Technology Program Manager to join our Scaled Operations Team to support the technology function for security and compliance initiatives.

Global Operations' focus is on improving the health of our products and helping people understand how to use them through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions. Facebook is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Program Manager who is specialized in identifying information security risk exposure (proactive & reactive) and advocates the right secure technology solutions for our third party/outsourcing space. This candidate will closely work with Security, Engineering and Operations teams to find solutions for the problems identified and to programmatically manage them to closure based on critically. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting security initiatives such as third party security exhibit, security audit findings/analysis and remediation, vendor access profiling and authentication, and tools externalization to holistically improve the security posture of the Global Operations business.

Technology Program Manager, Security Responsibilities

* Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook's community support processes, products and policies. Be able to interact with business and product teams alike to drive system discussions on third party security and access controls

* Refine and drive the third party security exceptions management program to streamline security compliance across the Global Operations vendor landscape

* Ensure vendor compliance to all security aspects by identifying security risks and addressing them through partnership (internal/external)

* With the right knowledge of the vendor landscape, partner with security teams to define and improve upon the Security Exhibit

* Provide hands-on technology program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

* Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks. Manage cross-functional programs covering a range of products across all lines of the business

* Use problem solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems. Analyze complex flows and provide recommendations for process, policy and product improvements

* Track and analyze key operational metrics to deeply understand the business and operations ecosystem, and help determine where to focus optimization efforts

* Assist in rolling out third-party security standards and risk assessment methodologies around suppliers, vendors, service providers, and members. Coordinate and enforce compliance with organization level security standards

* Requires at least 20% international travel

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering

* 4+ years of experience in technology focused on information security and risk management

* Project management experience centered around information security and associated technology implementations

* Experience ideating, documenting, socializing and operationalizing security and technology processes

* Experience working as part of Security, Engineering, and Corporate IT programs with mission-critical projects

* Strategic thinker with analytical and technology focussed problem-solving experience

* Experience with demonstrating negotiation and conflict management

* Experience with executing day-to-day activities required for the development and tracking of information security initiatives, including the communication and management of policies, controls, and practices

* Experience in development of strategic roadmaps for areas of Risk Management, Data Protection, and Access Governance

* Demonstrated experience with operating autonomously across multiple teams to foster cross-functional working relationships. Includes working with and communicating with multiple partner teams and cross-functional partners (with and without technology experience)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with large scale third party security programs

* Experience in technology architecture design and solutioning

* Results-oriented, high energy, self-motivated

* Experience working in a technology company or consulting firms
