Job Description

Facebook is launching a new talent development program called Rotational AI Science & Engineering (RAISE). This unique 24-month rotational opportunity offers immediate full-time employment in the Facebook AI organization. RAISE will build a diverse cohort of Software Engineers across a range of industry experience levels to prepare them for long-term success in Facebook AI. As a member of the initial cohort in this first-of-its-kind initiative, you will redefine industry norms, create a new pathway into AI, and shape RAISE for years to come. Facebook AI believes in making AI careers more accessible to everyone, including industry professionals looking to make a mid-career shift. Over 24 months, you will join world-class research and engineering teams and gain hands-on experience working across a breadth of cutting edge artificial intelligence technologies. Through meaningful rotation projects and a high quality support and mentorship system, RAISE will provide you an unparalleled foundation for a successful career in AI. RAISE participants will take part in four six-month engineering rotations on a variety of AI teams. After completion of the rotations, RAISE alumni will be able to seamlessly continue their full-time employment at Facebook by selecting a permanent team to join within Facebook AI that aligns with their skill set and interests. We build products to connect the world, and this means we need teams that understand and reflect a broad range of experiences and abilities. The RAISE program is open to all qualified candidates. No experience with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning is required.
