In this role with the Global Data Center Connectivity (GDCC) Team, you will work closely with our GDCC internal teams and various cross functional departments, to owns partner adoption and training, to own all aspects of quality management systems for fiber/copper cabling installation, materials, design, contracts, and integration. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are a must in this highly collaborative role.
System Operations Lead, Quality Responsibilities
* Ability to deliver a large scale, cross functional software or enterprise system deployment which includes effectively implementing a quality assurance & quality control program (QA/QC)
* Lead the organization in developing and executing the QA/QC system strategy, to include product vision, roadmap, lifecycle, and prioritizing requirements
* As the expert in quality enterprise systems, align with the businesses analytics requirements for key performance indicators and define reporting requirements in the context of QA/QC for all aspects of GDCC program lifecycle
* Collect, analyze, & present data (e.g. performance metrics) to leaders and Program owners to enable informed decisions & improve process
* Primary point of contact for evaluating, developing, implementing and supporting quality system that will enable engineers and construction teams to record quality events (design review, walk throughs, issues, acceptances) and model that full quality process life cycle in an enterprise grade systems
* Provide hands-on program management during design, development, testing, implementation, analysis, and post implementation of quality related system
* Devise a training road-map to on-board new sites and key personnel
* increase adoption and standardize processes collaboratively with the engineering & construction teams
* Manage expectations of all interested parties define clear program with key deliverable and milestone dates for implementation
* Manage the publishing of business requirements documents, method of procedures (MOP), process workflows, training guides to on-board new sites and personnel
* Build relationships, gain consensus, remove roadblocks, and focus on solution delivery, improve process efficiencies
* Up to 20% travel to various Facebook sites and Data Centers (including international travel)
Minimum Qualifications
* BA/BS or equivalent in construction management, or relevant work experience
* 5+ years in Architectural Design and/or Construction experience
* Experience building a large scale QA/QC program
* Working knowledge of Autodesk, BIM360
* Communication skills with the experience presenting enterprise system strategy in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including leadership
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in product management and/or deployment of enterprise solutions at scale
